Me and my family went out for a early dinner and everything was excellent! The food had generous portions and
the dessert was very delicious. Customer service was amazing as staff were consistently checking in to see if we needed anything. I would definitely come back.
Saw the Ads on Facebook and was in the area and decided to try the cafe out. Not in a particularly appealing spot as it was facing the main highway and side street is in an industrial area. But sometimes the industrial vibe can be its appeal. The rustic retro interior looked on trend, even though it was quiet when we went for lunch a few families turned up and started to fill the place up. The hard surfaces could make the place noisy but it wasn’t when we went and conversation was easy. The staff were pleasant but service for drinks was slow but food came out quickly. Meals were large portions but that is reflected in the price. The octopus salad looked nice and wasn’t too bad but the octopus was chewy and was hard to eat. The seafood grill was for one and at $60 was steep but could easily feed two people. The seafood looked appealing but was slathered in honeyed sauce and after eating a few pieces it got too much and again the octopus looked good but was rubbery we also tried the chicken burger but was dry and slathered in sauce and again tepid and not warm enough. Grill was also cold and wasn’t as tasty as it looked. Not sure I would go back as nothing there to draw me back.
My family and friends went to have a nice dinner out and it didn’t disappoint. The distance was great. The parking was plenty full. The tables were a decent size. The service was great as they were very helpful and attentive. Our orders came out very quickly even though we all ordered so many different items. I went with a group of 10 people. And the place was busy but still great service.
We used to go to the Burwood restaurant 20 years ago and for old time sake, we decided to go back to the new location.
Been here twice and first time I had the pasta which was big in size but needed quite a bit of salt for taste.
The second time was today and again, the mains were good size however the dessert portion was disappointing for the price. The share platter was fair for its price but the pavlova and sticky date pudding was not worth it ($21 and $19.90 respectively). They were tiny little sampler sizes on a main size plate! See pictures below.
Presentation is pretty though and service is decent.
I went today to George's Cafe with friends, I really loved the place the fit out is amazing and very classy, we had shisha, the use premium Aeon German shishas and it was fantastic. The food was very tasty and very generous portions.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Plenty of street parking, will definitely go back and recommend
Great food and even better service.
Waiter Dino was so friendly, made recommendations, and was accommodating for our 3 year old, making sure the food was also to her taste, which kept up happy too!
Amazing food too, excellent portions, and a great variety on the menu, will definitely be back!
What a gorgeous eatery! Interiors are sexy, food is brilliant and the atmosphere is electric! You can see they’ve thought of every detail in this establishment! Must visit and dine here. They have a seperate section, large room dedicated for Shisha enthusiasts too! Definitely worth checking this one out!
We were there for lunch, and it was quiet.
We have ordered baby octopus, stake, barramundi, and lamb chop.
The produces were very good quality , and prepping was good as we ordered. On point. I will suggest using a little bit less salt. Good luck
